WAGroup Privacy Policy

This policy applies to wagroup.wadesk.io and the WAGroup Chrome extension, extension ID jlhddemmmdlgeleinckjpobkephfkncl.

Links to Group Finder or other products do not extend these statements about WAGroup to those products. Their own policies and data practices apply. WAGroup is independent software and is not affiliated with or endorsed by WhatsApp, Meta or Google.

When you use the extension, it accesses the signed-in account identifier, connection state, group identifiers and names, and group capabilities needed to show available groups and perform your chosen task. Mention features may use member identifiers to address the people in the selected group.

The extension processes the groups you select, message text, templates, attachments or contact details you add, sending intervals, progress, delivery identifiers and result or error information. Use group and member information only with the authority and permissions required for your purpose.

Drafts, tasks, group selections, session information and attachment files are stored in browser-local IndexedDB. Chrome local storage and browser local storage also keep preferences and local feature state, such as language, the last opened view and review-prompt state.

When you send through WhatsApp, WhatsApp and the recipients receive your selected messages and attachments. Exported reports remain in your chosen download location.

The extension requests storage to save local product state and host access to https://web.whatsapp.com/* to operate on WhatsApp Web. These permissions support the group-sending workflow you choose.

Sending, attachment delivery and account connectivity rely on WhatsApp Web and its own services, terms and privacy practices. The extension uses your existing WhatsApp Web session; do not provide your WhatsApp password to WAGroup support.

The WAGroup website uses Google Analytics 4 to measure page activity and interactions such as installation-link clicks. Google may process device and browser information, approximate location and interaction data, and may use analytics cookies under its own practices.

A language cookie, i18n_redirected, remembers language selection. Hosting and CDN providers receive the request information needed to serve pages and assets, which can include IP addresses and browser/request metadata. These website practices are separate from extension-local message processing.

If you contact us, the support platform and support team receive what you choose to send, such as your contact details, problem description, screenshots and correspondence. Send only the information necessary to address the request.

Opening Chrome Web Store, WhatsApp, Telegram or other external links is subject to those services’ practices. Do not submit passwords, private messages, contact lists or other people’s information unless necessary and you have the right to share it.

Information is used to provide the requested sending workflow, preserve local state, operate and understand website usage, respond to support requests and protect the service.

Website analytics, hosting/CDN and support providers process the data needed for their respective services. Information we hold may also need to be disclosed where applicable law requires it. Browser-local task content is not available to us merely because you installed the extension.

Local drafts, records and preferences persist until removed by a feature that manages them, by clearing the relevant browser or extension storage, or by uninstalling the extension where Chrome removes its stored data. Attachment files no longer referenced by drafts or tasks may be cleaned up locally. Exported files must be deleted separately.

Because storage can belong to different browser contexts, clearing only website cookies may not remove all extension or WhatsApp Web local state. Deleting local task records does not retract messages already delivered to WhatsApp or recipients.

Website analytics retention follows the analytics service configuration. Support information is retained as needed to handle requests and meet applicable obligations. Contact us about information you have supplied to support.

You can stop using the extension, stop a task, remove exports, clear local storage, manage browser cookies or uninstall the extension. Keep your device, browser profile and WhatsApp session secure. No system can guarantee absolute security or uninterrupted availability.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, or to object to or restrict processing. Contact us for information we hold; local-only task data generally must be managed in your own browser. We may need to verify your request. External providers may process information outside your country under their own arrangements and applicable requirements.

Do not use the service if you are below the age required by applicable law to agree to its use. You are responsible for the permissions and lawful basis needed to process other people’s data and send group messages.

We will update this page and its date when the product or data practices change. Material changes will be communicated as required.
